Began the day checking into the Union Station Metropolitan Lounge for business class and sleeper passengers. From this lounge I boarded Amtrak's Carl Sandburg to Galesburg, IL. After a good visit with friend Maury G., I returned to Chicago on Amtrak's Southwest Chief. And still walked a few blocks to get photos of the Amtrak and Metra rail yards and tracks departing Union Station.
